Structure and Operations

Beech Tree Labs (BTL) is a for-profit biotech company specializing in physiologic-dose pharmaceutical formulations. It was incorporated in the state of Delaware in February 2005 and is headquartered in the greater Albany, NY, area. BTL is led by Founder and President John McMichael, Ph.D., a small, experienced management team, and the professional network previously associated with Dr. McMichael's prior companies, Milkhaus Laboratory, Inc., and Milkhaus Veterinary Products, Inc.

Management's efforts are concentrated on coordinating the activities of the discovery team, collaborators who will support basic science and proof-of-concept clinical trials, and business partners who in-license BTL product candidates for further development and marketing.
