Product Candidate Description

This is a product containing a single antibody in relatively low concentrations that has shown efficacy in addressing neuropathies associated with conditions such as diabetes, trauma, and surgery.

Laboratory Status

The therapeutic antibody has been closely studied and characterized relative to its effect when combined with its target antigen, and how this results in reduction of pain or localized numbness. Current efforts are focused on cytokine responses to treatment with this antibody.

Clinical Status

Sufficient anecdotal clinical experience has been accumulated to justify the preparation of an IND application for formal evaluation of this product candidate under tightly controlled conditions.

Path Forward

The aforementioned controlled clinical trial represents the next step in development of this agent.
