The focus of Beech Tree Labs' (BTL) efforts is to discover, evaluate, patent, and then perform the early-stage development of safe and efficacious products. John McMichael, Ph.D., through years of research, pre-clinical use by physicians to underpin patent applications, and for compassionate treatment of various diseases, has determined certain dosage ranges which vary from product candidate to product candidate but in all cases are orders of magnitude below typical pharmaceutical levels and yet orders of magnitude above homeopathic levels. With but one exception these product candidates are all comprised of naturally-occurring molecules administered in physiological doses.
Several of these molecules are well-known and well-studied but have never before been used therapeutically. The bulk of the Company's technology portfolio has been licensed to BTL by Milkhaus Laboratory, Inc., founded by Dr. McMichael and to which many of his patents were assigned. There are also additional formulations currently ready for patenting after initial clinical evaluation. The novelty of Beech Tree's technology is proven by a large portfolio of domestic and foreign patents and patent applications. Furthermore, experts independent of Beech Tree have confirmed the utility of the Company's products through laboratory and clinical evaluations.
